#9 USS Intrepid (CV-11)

Spectators standing on the flight deck of the ESSEX class Aircraft Carrier USS INTREPID (CV 11) watch WASP class Amphibious Assault Ship USS IWO JIMA (LHD 7) pull into New York City to participate in Fleet Week 2002. The INTREPID is permanently docked as a Sea-Air-Space Museum in New York City. More than 6000 Sailors, Marines and Coast Guard personnel aboard 22 ships - including six warships returning from deployment in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, sail into New York City for the 15th Annual Fleet Week 2002, 05/22/2002.  Like it?
